We are a young guild. The road up to the hall has room on both sides, and we are looking for founding makers to fill it — one good stall at a time, not a thousand drop-shippers.
Trades we're short of
Potters & ceramicists
Wheel-thrown, hand-built, slipware, raku — anything shaped from clay and fired.
Wanted: Mugs, bowls, planters, tiles, commissions
Stone workers & masons
Carvers, letter cutters, dry-stone wallers and anyone who works in slate or granite.
Wanted: Carvings, house signs, garden pieces, restoration work
Blacksmiths & metal workers
Forge work, fabrication, casting, jewellery — hot metal or cold.
Wanted: Ironmongery, tools, gates, hooks, silver and copper smallwork
Tailors & textile makers
Sewing, weaving, knitting, dyeing, embroidery, leather and canvas.
Wanted: Garments, bags, repairs, alterations, made-to-measure
Woodworkers & green woodsmen
Furniture, turning, carving, coppice crafts and joinery.
Wanted: Bowls, spoons, furniture, bespoke fitting
Glass, candle & soap makers
Stained glass, lampwork, chandlery, cold-process soap and apothecary work.
Wanted: Panels, beads, candles, balms, small-batch goods
Bookbinders, printers & illustrators
Hand binding, letterpress, lino, calligraphy and painted work.
Wanted: Journals, prints, maps, commissions, signage
Trades & services
Handymen, restorers, sharpeners, upholsterers, gardeners and teachers of a craft.
Wanted: Local services listed by area, no selling required
